Create Your Own Astronomy Masterpiece: NASA's AstroPhoto Challenge Winter 2025

Back by popular demand! Join Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA and educators from the MicroObservatory Robotic Telescope Network for even more guidance on how to create stunning astrophoto masterpieces with youth!  This time, we'll focus on how you and your audiences can participate in the Winter 2025 edition of NASA's Astrophoto Challenge.

This past August, we hosted an exciting webinar teaching participants how to remotely control a real telescope in order to create astrophoto masterpieces using a simple (and free!) image enhancement tool used by astronomers (if you missed the event, you can watch the recording here).

Based on your feedback, NGCP is excited to host an informal “office hours” style follow-up webinar to provide more time for participants’ questions and hands-on guidance with the image enhancement tool. Speakers will provide a short review of the material covered in our first webinar highlighting how it applies to facilitating a program around NASA's Astrophoto Challenge, and then open the floor to audience questions, ideas, and conversation. This event is open to everyone, whether or not you attended our first webinar.
